About
As an Italian child in Sri Lanka, I saw my family's business and savings wiped out by the 2004 tsunami. Status and money as the whole scoreboard can vanish overnight. What held was people helping people. That pushed me toward work that leaves something behind, not an endless bucket to fill.
After finance degrees and investment banking, I left a safe path to riches to make impact careers easier to reach. Work shapes the planet and people's lives more than most day-to-day tips admit. That's why this platform exists.
The search
I hunted for impact roles for a long time, including at university. The boards did not feel built for people who want their work time to mean something.
Hard-entry programs
NGO and fellowship tracks that ask for years of experience before you can even apply.
Unpaid as the on-ramp
Roles that only work if you can afford to work for free. Not a long-term path for most people.
Impact as a side desk
Large employers where impact is a brochure line, not the core of what employees actually do.
Quiet orgs stay invisible
True impact-first employers without big branding teams get drowned out by louder corporate hiring.
Finding employers that are impact-first at the core meant countless hours of digging only to find no open positions.
Instead of leaving that hunt on every seeker, we centralize the research here. So people can spend their most valuable asset, their time, on missions that make them feel alive.
Experience
Concrete path, then how it shapes judgment.
Finance taught me how status careers sell themselves. Curation here is the opposite bet: impact-first employers, honest notes, no pay-to-play.
Decisions
Accountability
Conflicts of interest
No equity or advisory stake in listed employers in v1. If that changes, I disclose before listing.
No paid inclusion
Employers cannot pay to be listed. Money does not buy a place on the board.
Corrections
See something wrong? Use Contact. I review, correct or mark the page, and reply when I can.
Methodology evolution
The public method can change. Methodology shows the current date. Published companies record which date applied.
AI drafts
AI may help draft structured notes. I review and publish. An AI draft is never an unsupervised claim on the board.
Email when early-career roles open, or when we add areas beyond the live inventory. No weekly digest promise.
